The best of northern italy’s cured meats industry gathered at Peck’s

On Sunday, September 6, Milan’s culinary store Peck was the stage for a unique event dedicated to our best clients in Northern Italy. The evening included guided tastings of cured meats and cheeses, a vertical tasting of three different maturation stages of F.lli Galloni Prosciutto di Parma, a demonstration of Parmigiano Reggiano wheel cutting, and an exciting competition for the longest slice cut by hand between the director of Peck’s delicatessen department, Luca Sommacal, and Franco Macchiavelli, owner of the deli meat store of the same name located in the heart of Bologna.
